Osteoporosis Screening
A quick heel-screening method for thin bones is available in alternating months at Lake Street and Xerxes offices.  The technique takes just a few minutes, and is a reliable indication of the density of bone at the hip for most women.  Pat-ients with risk factors may need a DEXA scan for a more accurate test.
